A few helpful facts:
- School hours are 8:40am-3pm. Doors open at 8:20 and all students are welcome to come in, and eat free breakfast (or not) in the cafeteria, or go to sports club in the gym.
- All students enter through 500 Pacific Street.
- 7th and 8th Graders exit through 500 Pacific Street at the end of the school day and 6th graders exit on Dean Street, near 3rd Avenue.
- Breakfasts and lunches are free and available to all students.
- Except when noted, all parents enter the school through 345 Dean Street. You will be asked for photo identification when you enter.
- Our pupil accounting secretary, Ms. Diaz, handles attendance and transportation. She can be reached at 718-330-9328 or mdiaz@ms447.org, If your student is absent or going to be absent, you can email attendance@ms447.org
- Students may not leave on their own before the end of the school day. If they need to leave early, a parent or someone on the emergency contact card must come to the office to sign them out.
- There is free afterschool for all students. It is 5 days a week, and your child does not need to come every day or stay for the entire time. All after school questions can be directed to Mr. Divine at divine@leapnyc.org

Todos los estudiantes entran por la calle Pacific 500.
Los alumnos de 6º grado salen por la calle Dean cerca de la 3ª Avenida y pueden salir por su cuenta o tomar el autobús escolar.
El desayuno y el almuerzo son gratuitos y están disponibles para todos los estudiantes.
