Hurricane Matthew took a terrible toll on Haiti. MS 447 is working with Brooklyn’s Haitian-American community to get much needed supplies to people in need. Here is a list of what we are collecting, it can be placed in the box outside of the main office:
First Aid Supplies:
- Water purification tablets, Tylenol and Children’s Tylenol, Cold and Flu medication.
- Diarrhea medication (adult and children’s), and vaginal/yeast infection creams.
- Insect repellent.
Personal Hygiene Items:
- Brand new underwear – adult (small and medium) and children’s sizes.
- Deodorant, soap and toothpaste.
Dry Foods and Other Items:
- Dried black beans, nutritional bars, cereal bars.
- Tomato paste and cans of evaporated milk. NO OTHER CANNED FOODS, PLEASE.
- LED flashlights and quality batteries (AA and AAA) and tea light candles.
