MS 447 students will be presenting their 6th grade “City Planning” and 8th grade “Service Learning” projects at Expo Gowanus on Saturday, May 19. Visit over 30 activity stations at this community festival with environmentally-themed art, hands-on science, creative “maker” activities, dance and music. Make art with recycled materials; step with the Gowanus Wildcats drill team; see live creatures from the Gowanus Canal; learn to knit, weave, and hand dye; climb with the Brooklyn Boulders and so much more! It’s a perfect spring event for families.
