Dear 8th Grade Families,
Please be advised that the High School Acceptance Letters are expected to be available for distribution to students this Wednesday, March 7th. We understand that this is a difficult and anxious time for students and families, and feel that it is in the students’ best interest to receive the letters at the end of the day in a sealed envelope. We recommend that students open the envelopes at home with their families. However, families are welcome to wait outside at dismissal to support their children. On this day, we will be dismissing 8th graders from the auditorium on the Dean Street side. I will be outside, as well, if you have any questions or concerns.
This year, we are also giving families the opportunity to pick up their child’s envelope in the main office between 3pm-5pm. Families that are requesting this option must fill out the following form https://goo.gl/forms/kVohJhid52hw7orq1, so that we know not to distribute your child’s letter. All requests must be filled out before 10:00am on Wednesday. Any families with students who do not make a first round high school match will be contacted by phone during the school day on Wednesday.
