6th Grade Supply List 2016-17
Welcome to M.S. 447! Student preparedness for class is integral to academic success. Below is a list of supplies that your child will need in sixth grade. We recommend that you label items with your child’s first and last name.
6th GRADE SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR ALL CLASSES
Pencil case
Sharpened #2 Ticonderoga pencils (it is best to keep a couple of packages in your locker)
Blue/black pens (No click pens please!)
Red pens or different colored pens for edits/revisions
Highlighters
Big Erasers
Hand held pencil sharpener (small metal one works best)
One 2” binder with two packs of dividers (to share with Social Studies, ELA and Science)
Loose leaf paper (it is best to keep 2- 3 packages in your locker, so you can replenish throughout the year)
Loose leaf ring reinforcement stickers
MS447 Agenda Book (may be purchased on the first day of school at a cost of $5)
USB/Flash Drive
Combination Lock (please memorize the combination and practice unlocking it over the summer!)
Reusable water bottle (recommended)
Crayola Markers
