On October 11, Prospect Park Track Club and NYCRuns are hosting a fundraiser for former MS 447 parent Michael Ring. The race consists of a half marathon, 5K and a virtual run with all proceeds going to the Ring family to assist them in covering Michael’s medical expenses.
In case you do not know Michael, he is an exceptionally kind person who devoted an incredible amount of time supporting our teachers on trips and in the classroom. Michael has been in the hospital since early May battling a rare nervous system disorder called CIDP.
