Hello Families,
WE NEED YOU! Please know that next Friday, June 20th is our Annual 6th Grade Field Day Event. Students are to come to school at the regular start time wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a bagged picnic lunch. Blankets are encouraged. From school we will travel via mass transit to Prospect Park. Students and staff will participate in a host of fun activities. Donations of bottled water and individually packed healthy snacks would be very much great appreciated. You can bring the items directly to the park or drop them here at school. We would love for parents to assist by chaperoning as well!
On June 25th, the 6th graders will go on our last celebatory trip. This trip to Melody Lanes will involve a day of bowling and fun. There is an $8 cost. Scholarships are available and again we would love for there to be parent chaperones.
The students and sixth grade team are very much looking forward to these events. Your participation will make them even that much more special.
