Wednesday, May 6th, 2015-Day 1

  • 7:30 a.m Staff and Students arrival to school.
  • 8:00 a.m.   Depart from MS 447, 500 Pacific St., Brooklyn, NY for Washington, DC  Time Varies Approx.  4 ½ hrs. driving time depending on traffic.
  • 1:30 p.m. Approx. time of arrival for visit at the National Air & Space Museum, 600 Independence Ave., SW, Washington, DC.  Tel#202-633-1000 Free Admission and No reservations required.
  • After the Museum, walk to the National Museum of American History, on the National Mall, 14th Street/Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC. Tel#202-633-1000 (Approx. 15 mins. walk).
  • 6:30 p.m. Depart for dinner at Old Country Buffet, 7820 Richmond Highway, Alexandria
  • 7:15 p.m. Dinner at Old Country Buffet.
  • 8:15 p.m. Depart for Washington, DC.
  • 8:45 p.m. Meet 1 Guide per Bus (3 Guides) from Guide Service  for Guided Illumination Tour of Washington, DC, to include the Korean, Vietnam, Jefferson Memorials, Washington Monument, Awakening of Statue, and other monuments. Then Depart for the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center, 5400 Holiday Drive, Frederick, MD.
  • 11:00 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center.

Thursday, May 7th, 2015-Day 2

7:30 a.m. Breakfast Buffet in the Hotel.

8:30 a.m. Depart for the International Spy Museum, 800 F. St., NW

10:00 a.m. Entrance to the International Spy Museum.

12:00 p.m. Depart for the Newseum, 555 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC.

12:30 p.m. Entrance to the Newseum for self-guided visit.

Lunch at Union Station at Union Station

3:30 p.m.   Depart for visit of the Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg

Place SW

4:30 p.m. Depart for Central Park Funland, 1351 Central Park Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA.

6:00 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at Central Park Funland.

10:00 p.m.   Depart for the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center.

11:30 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center.

 

Friday, May 8th, 2015 – Day 3

7:00 a.m. Breakfast Buffet in the Hotel.

8:00 a.m. DEPART/Check out of the Hotel and depart for Washington, DC.

9:00 a.m. Visit the White House Visitor Center.

9:30 a.m. Visit of the MLK Memorial.  Dr. King’s Memorial site is a four-acre plot on the north east corner of the Tidal Basin within the precinct of the Jefferson Memorial and north of the memorial to President Roosevelt.  The approved site creates a visual “line of leadership” from the Lincoln Memorial, where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, to the Jefferson Memorial.

Time permitting, self-Guided visit of the Vietnam Memorial.

10:00 a.m. Depart for lunch at Hard Rock Café, 601 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD.

12:30 p.m.   Lunch at Hard Rock Café.

1:00 p.m. Depart for School.

4:30 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at  MS447, 500 Pacific Street.
