The 7th Grade Boston Trip is May 18-20. Here is the itinerary and packing list.

MS 447 7 th Grade Boston Itinerary:

Wednesday, May 18, 2016-Day 1:

8:00 a.m. Depart from MS 447, 345 Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY for Boston, MA.

12:30 p.m. Arrive at Plimoth Plantation.

3:30 p.m. Depart for The Prudential Center Boston, MA.

5:00 p.m. 80 min. Boston Duck Tour out of the Prudential Center

6:00 p.m. Meal coupon for dinner at The Prudential Center.

7:00 p.m. Depart for The Embassy Suites Hotel Boston-Marlborough.

7:45 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at the Hotel. Time to check in.

10:00 p.m. Curfew.

Thursday, May 19, 2016-Day 2:

8:00-9:00 a.m. Full Breakfast Buffet served in the Hotel.

9:45 a.m. Depart for Boston, MA.

10:30 a.m. Self-Guided Walking Tour of the Historic Freedom Trail (chaperones with Ed. groups)

12 – 2 p.m. Lunch on your own at Quincy Market (this lunch is not included).

2:00 p.m. Walk over to the NE Aquarium.

2:30 p.m. Entrance to the New England Aquarium, Central Wharf, Boston, MA.

4:00 p.m. IMAX film at the Aquarium “TBA”.

5:00 p.m. 1 hour free time at Columbus Waterfront Park

6:30 p.m. Dinner at the Hard Rock Café

7:45 p.m. Depart for the Hotel.

8:15 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at the Hotel.

Approx. 4 hrs. driving time depending on traffic.

Boxed Lunches at Plimoth Plantation + Tour of OR Plimoth Waterfront (30 min.)

Friday, May 20, 2016-Day 3:

7:00 a.m. Full Breakfast Buffet served in the Hotel.

8:00 a.m. Check out of the Hotel and depart for Fenway Park.

9:30 a.m. Tour of Fenway Park

Lunch at Pizzeria Uno

1:30 p.m. Depart for your School. Approx. 4 hrs. driving time depending on traffic.

5:30 p.m. Approx. time of arrival at your School.



MS 447 Packing List for Boston, MA

Check the weather before your trip so you can pack appropriately!

(Average daytime temperatures for end of May are in the 70s, and at night are in the mid-50s.)

_____ 2 Pairs of COMFORTABLE shoes/sneakers/boots

_____ Small sleeping bag, if preferred

_____ 1-2 long sleeved shirts or sweaters or a spring jacket

_____ a hat (It will be chilly at night!)

_____ 1 small folding umbrella, rain jacket, or poncho

_____ Small backpack for the day, pens/pencils

All liquids must fit into one quart-sized baggy. In your liquids bag, you may wish to have travel-sized bottles.

Any medicines you take in their original bottles in a plastic baggy labeled with name and class.

Eye glasses, sun glasses, and cases

LIGHT, HEALTHY SNACKS (optional but recommended)


You may optionally bring additional spending money for souvenirs. Please do not bring more than $50 cash total
